Changelog
Every Cashout release that reached users, newest first. Android and iPhone are listed separately because they don't update on the same day or with the same features.
iPhone 6.0 is in progress. Spanish, backup and restore, guided setup and a shift timer are coming to iPhone with it. It isn't in the App Store yet.
Android 6.1.1, October 9, 2026
- If your account is still waiting on email verification, you can finish it from Settings: tap Verify Email and a new code is sent right away.
- After this update, an account that isn't verified yet gets a one-time reminder with a button to send a new code.
Android 6.1.0, October 7, 2026
- Overtime: a weekly ring of your hours against your overtime threshold, a projection that includes scheduled shifts, and your history.
- Self-employment (1099) tax. Jobs paid as a contractor now add self-employment tax to your estimate, your quarterly payments and the tax summary. Each job has a "Paid as a contractor (1099)" switch, on by default for rideshare, delivery, hair stylist, barber and massage therapist jobs.
- Tip Reporting: tips you earned next to the tips you reported to your employer, by month.
- Tax savings: a streak, a monthly chart, and a countdown to the next quarterly payment.
- Export your shifts to a CSV file or a PDF report.
- Insights: compare a week, month or custom range with the one before it, follow your tips with a rolling average and a breakdown by section, and get a "New personal best" note when a shift beats your record.
- Sections: tag shifts with the section or station you worked. Sections sync across devices.
- Shift search, and swipe a shift left to delete it (with Undo) or right to copy it to today.
- Reminders for scheduled shifts now actually send a notification.

- AI Coach: suggested questions to get you started.
- Break Room messages: Cashout no longer sends a message it can't encrypt.
- Unpaid breaks, sections and job settings now sync, plus other sync fixes and polish.
