CashoutPrivacy Policy
Cashout exists to track your income for you, not to monetize it. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we collect the minimum needed to run the app.
What we store
Your shift, tip, mileage, and tax records live on your device. If you create an account, they also sync encrypted to our servers so your devices stay in step. Your account is an email address and a password hash. Break Room content (posts, reviews, wage reports) is stored under your anonymous handle. Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted: we store ciphertext we cannot read.
What we don't do
No selling or renting personal data. No advertising or ad tracking SDKs. No reporting of anything to employers or tax authorities. Location, if you enable auto shift detection, is processed on your device to notice when you leave your workplace; your movement history is not uploaded.
Deletion
Delete your account in Settings and your synced data and Break Room profile are permanently removed from our servers. Local data is deleted when you remove the app.
